I guess the proper way to do it would be to use "FO2" when talking about a mixture of gas in a scuba tank or rebreather loop, and "FiO2" when talking about gas that is inspired into the lungs, but then it might start getting more complicated than it needs to be. A glossary of proper and bastardized terms in a FAQ file would be a good idea. Aloha, Rich
