This Info was taken from the NOAA dive Manual (which may be the older one) Anyway... A PO2 of 1.7 violates USN limits and NOAA limits. The Exceptional exposure limit for a PO2 of 1.7 is about 75 minutes (USN limits for 75 minutes is a PO2 of about 1.2) A PO2 of 1.7 equates to 234fsw (the Monitor?) which many dive on air and get away with. Since O2 toxicity is so fickle and underwater convulsions are so unforgiving I wouldn't go past a PO2 of about 1.6 (1.45 working) without a full face mask. My daughter is just too cute to let my wife raise alone. I've posted this to the group because I'd like to know if this is correct, If it's not then I NEED to know. Good luck and be safe in whatever you're planning.
