I don't think that there is any real reason to O2 clean the vacuum cleaner if you aren't going to run O2 through it. You probably want to make sure it is blowing clean air. I did this by using a clean filter and a hose that is used for no other purpose. I suspect that my vacuum is not blowing any significant amount of oil, especially when compared to my automotive compressor. But it might be more interesting to hook it to a vacuum cleaner in suck mode and to draw outside air into it. The question there is, is outside air dirtier than air filtered through a vacuum cleaner's paper filter which might have picked up something from the vacuum?
