  I suppose that if you barge into a diveshop and ask for Polartec 
underwear, they'd be glad to sell it to you - for a price...

  I'll be heading soon into ski shops to look for the same; I'm pretty sure 
that I'll get a suitable thing for far much less $$$$...

  However, I've also been thinking about using a 3mm wetsuit as underwear. 
Those things are toasty enough on the surface; how would they fare 
underwater (taking account, of course, of the suit's compressibility) in a 
drysuit?
