I had considered suggesting the same thing, but I expect that those who
like, or dislike, each package would then feel the same, only more so, about
those publications. If it turned out that they all rated Abyss as the
best, then those who dislike Abyss (or those associated with it) would not
have any magazines to read. Same goes for other packages and their
detractors.

What I would like to see is for those who don't like a specific package to
describe features they don't like, it's defects (and provide documentation
to support their claim), and etc. So far, all I have seen is that some
package is a piece of crap, and the only reason given is they don't like
one or more of those involved in it's production. Heck, at least one
person has designated it crap who claims to have never seen it...that takes
real brains.

I was hopeing to find an intelligent discussion of the more advanced diving
topics when I subscribed about two weeks ago. Did I just pick a bad time
to subscribe, and this will all blow over? If not, are there any mail list
whose contributors are more interested in rational discussion than this
one?
