I appologize to both Cavers and Tech : I just installed
a new software that I was unfamiliar with when I attempted
answer Chris Parrot privately to explain the danger of what he
was recomending. I continued to inadvertently direct all of my
private email to parrot and everyone else onto the two lists
without knowing it. If I offended someone (other than for being
a stroke) , I am sorry.
I will say that my practical knowledge of decompression is far
in excess of what most of you are using for advice, and I am always
glad to share this information for the sake of the safety of the
community.
Unfortunately, when I do , there are always those whose
"ox" (like Abyss) is gored or "sacred cow" (like John Crea) is
butchered in the proscess. Too bad.
What really is interesting to me is when I put out a warning
about an unregistered class three medical device which has not
been subjected to the FDA's federally mandated PMA process, I
am attacked by every quaking little self-righteous know-nothing
on these lists, and then am threatened by a lawsuit.
Really, people, do you resent me all that much? All I'm trying
to do is give you the benefit of what I have gone to a lot of
trouble to work out at my own risk and expense. Maybe some of you
could help me use my software instead of resorting to personal
attacks, and suggsting that I see a doctor , although there is
a guy in Fort Lauderdale called the D.O.S. Doctor, if that is
who you meant.
