Thank you for the comments, they echo the thoughts of a good many people
that have chosen not to enter this fray but rather to write to me privately.
Mr Irvine:
If by some unintended action on my part I personaly insulted you or your
character, I am again appologizing for having done so. I said so to you in
private e-mail, and I am saying so again in public on this forum.
I will gladly discuss with you any hard feelings you have about Abyss, and
take to heart any serious commentary you wish to offer on how the program
does, or in your oppinon should, work. I think you will find that I am very
responsive to valid criticisms, and quite willing to make changes to Abyss
that will result in a better overall product.
I ask only that you do it with a civil tongue.
To the rest of you on this list, I appologize for touching off what is
clearly the ugliest flame I can ever recall.
