Hi,
Sorry for cross posting, particularly on such an old subject.

For me it is a tottaly dead issue becuase I solo just on all my dives
so a single air supply is just dumb, but I'm still curious.  Why do
manifold divers use a manifold and two cylinders rather than a single
with a Y valve?  Surely a single tank is lighter, more streamlined,
cheaper and less prone to damage.

What am I missing here?
