I read through the doc again myself at the weekend and noticed a couple of faux pas so here are some corrections. I don't have a copy here so you'll have to make do with general pointers to the mistakes. I'll be back in Glasgow tomorrow so I'll do some more then. 1. There's a spurious word "for" in one of the answers. 2. Lorraine should be spelled Lorrain. Lorrain Smith was a French male researcher who published stuff on pulmonary O2 toxicity in 1899 - not the early 1960's as claimed in the ANDI manual. Puting the "e" on the end is an in joke here because the book Deep Diving got it wrong :-) I just forgot to take it out. 3. The cross reference in the note to Mixed Gas says "5". It should be a cross reference to Deep Diving. There are also a couple of other questions which occured to me: Can I get an oxygen bend? A. Yes, but you'll probably convulse at those partial pressures of oxygen. The good news is that you will probably metabolise the bend away without the need for recompression - if you survive the bend. Q. What effect does the CO2 content have. A. There may not be enough real info to answer this properly. Sorry, I'm on a telnet thing here and am typing this in straight. The last word on the first answer above should be convulsion, not bend. Alan
