Hi Tony, > I feel my comfort level is > high enough now to take the step, but It's not something I want to do by > myself. How can I begin to wonder into the 150 to 200 foot range? I am > limited on my access to get to these places! I looking for suggestions > from anybody! Well, you certainly seem to have a good attitude about it (but I already knew that). Except if I were you, I wouldn't jump straight to the 150-200 range. We go out to the 100-foot hole pretty regularly. Outside the hole there's a ledge to 125 feet. Why don't you come along with us out there sometimes (after this giant south swell dies down, of course). I'm not totally convinced that a person necessaruly needs to do a lot of deeper air dives before moving on to trimix, just a lot of experience in the appropriate conditions. Being comfortable underwater is one of the most important things, because it allows you to stay calm in a stressful situation. What you need is to be comfortable with stressful situations (no, I don't mean deliberately put your life in jeopardy). > P.S. I'm waiting to hear the god news about you and Lisa!!!! Let me know > how everything goes!!! Thanks. She's due next week, but we're expecting any day. I'll let you know. Talk to you soon, Rich Richard Pyle deepreef@bi*.bi*.ha*.or* ******************************************************************* "WHATEVER happens to you when you willingly go underwater is COMPLETELY and ENTIRELY your own responsibility!
