Let me start off by saying that I am not a tech diver, But I am a PADI 
Instructor who is interested in NITROX.  Primarily because I keep having 
students ask questions about it.  Since my knowledge is very limited in this
area I have been calling the different stores in my area who do NITROX fills 
to get some information.
 
This has been very disappointing.  Of the 2 stores that have NITROX available 
 
 
one did not seem very knowledgable about diving in general, let alone any 
technical form.  THe other stated that the person who does their NITROX is 
still trying to get the components to be able to fill tanks.
 
My question is what special equipment is necessary to fill NITROX, Is the 
process similiar to our cascaded AIR fills?  Is there some way of knowing if 
a stores set up is safe?  
 
I would like to be able to take a course before I recommend anything to my 
students.  Are all of the agencies similiar in their standards(Not trying to 
start "Iam better than you" wars)
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
