Just for the record,

When Curt posted his flame directed at George he was speaking as a diver on
this list. NOT as a representative of DeepTech Journal. 

I gathered from his remarks that Curt was a little miffed at George. This is
unfortunate. Both Curt and George are exceptional divers who respect each
others accomplishments. I hope they work it out. Nevertheless, their
disagreement is none of my business. 

Along with Ken and the others who have commented on this, I too would like to
see comments, questions and disagreements be made with respect. Bill gavin
and Rich Pyle, among others,  usually have strong opinions that they express
passionately. Sometimes they disagree with me but I never interpret their
comments as rude or disrespectful. It would sure be nice if everyone could
communicate that well, myself included.
