My tire analogy was made in regards to air beyond 200 fsw.  I'm all
for air/Tech Nitrox training in the 130-200 foot range.  I just don't
believe there's any reason with the mix technology available to dive
air beyond that.  Nobody in their right mind would advocate sending
a diver straight from AOW class to Trimix.
