Subject: Average tek diving month.
What is an average tek diving month for a techdiver list participant?
How many dives per month? What range of depths? What range of bottom
times? What criteria is used to select the bottom mix?

Personally, I do 8 to 12 technical level exposures per month. The
depth range is from 170' to about 400'. Bottom times vary from 15 to
45 minutes. Down to 200' and 45 minutes bottom time, I use air. For
bounce dives to about 280' and light exposures to 250', I also use air
or a VERY light Heliair. NOTE: I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USE AIR
DEEPER THAN 200fsw. I'm just too stupid to take my own advice!
For any dives "hairier" than those described above, I'll use a
heavy-duty Heliair (mucho He). Until helium gets cheaper(listen-up
fusion scientist!) or I get my Mk 5, I'll continue to use air as much
as safely possible.
