Hello Don >I don't dive mix, but I think this is a ridiculous statement. Technology >moves ahead. Race cars used to use bias-ply tires. Now they use radials. No >one would ever consider telling a Formula 1 or Indy car driver that he >couldn't use radials until he had sufficient experience with older, less-safe >bias ply tires. You use the best technology available to accomplish the >mission at hand. I've never done a 200+ foot air dive, and with luck I never >will. I agree with your reasoning, but my interpretation of this posting is that the CURRENT AVAILABLE FORMAL TECH DIVING TRAINING is such that you must attend a Deep Air course prior to get to TRIMIX, cause most of the deco gas theory and training is done during the Deep Air Training and just "used" during the TRIMIX training. Of course, it is possible to customize a TRIMIX training that would encompass both bottom mix and deco mix usage. Just my $2c worth. --- Mauricio Henriques Network Consultant Phone: +[55](21)297-1122 x.4715 Digital Equipment Co.
