F.> rounded cave diver. Meanwhile, remember that WKPP is many people, not F.> just George. And the opinions expressed by George on various subjects F.> do not necessarily reflect the groups. F.> Bill Gavin Bill, I have no complaint with WKPP, yourself or anyone else involved. I've never encountered "George " before (or his little peon friend dp) and was quite annoyed by the arrogant way he tramples over others. We have people like this up here and for the most part we let them alone. I'm here to dive, as are most divers. I may be a bit more vocal on the net but I let my diving speak for itself. As for continueing intelligent discussion on the merits of a standardized ATA for O2, I'm all for it, that's what this list is here for. I repeat my previous feelings that 1.6 is adequate, I know of no situations where an ATA of 1.6 has caused death's or near death incidents all by itself. I would venture to guess that for LONG exposures an ATA of 1.4 is more reasonable. Down in cave country you guys are generally in the water, at depth, much longer than us up here. When I am doing a dive to 230 fsw for 20 or 30 minutes, I am very comfortable in my belief that I won't have any O2 related problems. I am curious about experiences yourself or others might have had that would refute my beliefs or at least be cause for a valid discussion.
