**** North Carolina Wreck Diving ****

I am presently booking North Carolina wreck diving trips for 1994. The
first trip will be in April. For those of you unfamiliar with what NC
has to offer, it has some of the finest wreck diving in the world. Dive
in the clear, warm waters of the Gulf Stream as you explore German
U-boats and other exciting wrecks, teeming w/ tropical marine life.

The following dates are currently available:

1. April 23,24

2. April 30,May 1

3. July 23,24

4. July 30,31

5. August 6,7

6. August 20,21

* Please note that these are all weekend dates. If you desire to go
during the week, let me know and we can work something out. If you
would prefer another weekend, let me know and I'll try to find
another charter boat, as the one I'm using for the above dates is
already filled for the rest of the peak diving season!

The cost per person is $70/day for a regular day, which covers many of
the more popular wrecks. For a long day the cost is $85/day, which will
include trips to more challenging wrecks farther out (e.g., Naeco and
Proteus). Both options include two dives per day and there will only
be 10 divers on the boat per day. I will need half of the cost for the
trip in advance to reserve your spot (i.e., $70 for the weekend).

The boat I am using is the Sea Wife IV, with Capt. Buck Wilde, who
discovered the submarine Tarpon. It is a 51', comfortable boat with
full electronics. Buck is an experienced captain, and an avid diver
himself. If you would like to learn more about Sea Wife or North
Carolina diving in general, check out Rod Farb's book: "Shipwrecks:
Diving the Graveyard of the Atlantic" or Gary Gentile's "Shipwrecks of
North Carolina."

If you are interested in joining me for some fantastic wreck diving,

I look forward to diving with you!
