From: ddrake01 A buddy of mine just bought the new Beauchat VX10. I adjusted it up to a high response and found it much nicer than the Odin in shallow water. I didn't try it at depth yet. One of the shops I visit said that it was based on the Odin, only better. The freeze cap is metal screw-on. When you have the complete flexability of tuning the second stage, a lot of the finicky adjustment Odin characteristics disappear. Yes, it delivered better than the Odin without a hint of chatter.BTW, the shop I was referring to used to swear by Odins. The VX10 has answered all of my beefs about the Odin, if it doesn't spit ice out at depth,except for one. Where can you get it serviced? Only this one shop will do it in my area. They're an hour away...so I hope it catches on to give Poseiden some competition. Competition breeds improvement! Anyone else have opinions?
