A very good and recent reference giving the history, current situation, 
and the political situation is:

		copyright 1994, 415 pages + photos + drawings

In addition the National Park Service published a report of its findings 
concerning the survey of Bikini Atoll.  It is out of print, I have a 
photo copy that I would copy for cost if someone would like it (I would 
pay for a spare original if anyone has one).

Supposedly tours are being run to Bikini, I read lodging was in the 
agency's facilities that use to be the Atomic Energy Commision.
