I can't really imagine why...I guess it's the cost of maintaining an O2-compatible booster pump. In that case, sure...go with 80%. However, I still think the differences you noted are physiologicaly meaningless, so "clear winner" might be a bit on the strong side. Also, I have a suspicion (tho nothing to back it up) that pure O2 has physiological advantages that are not accounted-for in decompression software, and therefore might provide an added safety component. But that's just a hunch...
