Ed, I dove in a "plain neoprene" until just recently buying a DUI CF-200. The plain neoprene was fine until about 120 feet. Then, like a wetsuit, suffered from compression and began to get cold. The plain neoprene also suffers from age deterioration as the cells break down. I have a colleague who has several thousand dives on a CF-200. Thus in the long run it is probably less expensive. My recommendation, having used both, would be the CF-200. With regards to pockets, I would recommend the utility pockets. They can be added later, but I believe it is less expensive if you order them up front. Hope this helps, feel free to mail if you have any other questions. T.J. McCann tjm@ea*.ne*
