Is there a study that compares profiles generated by the different programs 
out there today?

I know that some are configurable and that the results will vary according to 
how conservative you choose to be on your settings.  However I would like to 
see a comparison of may be 100 popular profiles on air/EANx/mix with the 
default/recommended/standard settings (there must be a way to compare them).

These would have the added value of measuring up our own settings against a 
reference.  Then we can choose to be more/less conservative in reference to 
something as opposed to just more/less conservative.

If such study does not exist, let me know if you would like to participate by 
defining standards, profiles, settings for each piece of software, running the 
simulations... (hoo@in*.ne*)
