I have quite little experience with long exposure dives. Longest deco I've been was about 40-50 minutes according to my Vyper computer (p0/a0). It was deep dives but in warm tropical water. I had no problems with above dives. I'm starting to dive longer and deper deco dives in much more difficult conditions - freezing cold!!! Usually in drysuit and +4 deg celsius temperatures. Now with PC generated tables, hot nitrox and oxygen for deco. What should be setting for gradient factor in programs like GAP or others? If I leave standard LO 0,20 HI 0,70 deco times are much longer than with Vyper simulation. What should I set to get to M-value not much further than Vyper but still have safe distance? My bodyfat is average and I'm in quite good health. Should I experiment with GF and watch for subclinical DCS symptoms? Sounds risky for me. What about GF for nitrox and trimix diving. Should I leave the same for trimix?
