George, As near as I can tell by piecing several (admitedly secondary) sources together, Chris Murley and Rick Lay were the only ones paying a total of $925 for a three day charter. There were two other "customers" plus the six crew members and Murley's girlfriend/fiance. The dives were Murley's checkout dives for tri-mix, so he was paying for his instructor. I haven't found much about Lay. I'm just a six-pak captain and that $925 for three days got my attention in a hurry. My company charges more than that for a day charter inside the mouth of the Chesapeake. That crew is working for the diving and may be contributing something in some other way to help with costs. With the expenses in that area, no one's mortgage is getting paid off at $925 for three days. ----- Original Message ----- From: "George Irvine" <trey@my*.ne*> To: "Don Burke" <donburke56@ne*.ne*>; <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Sent: 31 March, 2003 21:29 Subject: RE: Fatal Depth > Don, was the Chris Murley killing the one where he was the only paying > customer on the Seeker and all the boat monkeys and freeloading TDI scumbags > that populate that "crew" on the boat were going for free and it was a class > or he had just taken a "tech" class?
