Just curious JT. How many dives do you need to have before you are no
longer a neophyte?

For instance, how long have you been "Tech" diving? 3 years? 4 years?

How many sub 250' dives did you do last year? 5?, 10?, 12?

How many times have you been past 400'?

At what point in your "career" did you make the transition from neophyte to
expert? What was it like? Did you suddenly feel enlightened and begin to
notice the children cheering while the women began to swoon?

Inquiring divers want to know....... when are they no longer neophytes and
when are they qualified to ask you a question? Is it safe to assume that
one is an expert after 3 years of tech diving and doing 10 deep dives a
year? Does skill enter into the equation or is it strictly numbers and
depth?
