Pete,

Last fall, we discussed for more than a month about liquid breathing. This
was interesting, but the discussion was getting a little bit long.

Guess what... Just a week after the discussion was over, a subscriber posted
a message saying something like this "I saw the film The Abyss last weekend
and was fascinated by the liquid breathing technology. Does it work?". If
I remember, nobody replied to that message.

I have no problem with advancements in technology and re-initiating
discussions (I did it myself). But, we should at least look at what was
discussed and use it as a starting point for new discussion. The one that
want to re-initiate a discussion should summarize the relevant posting from
the archives for the benefit of the newcomers and make sure this is the
starting point.

Anyway, this is just my opinion.

Regards,

Michel
