Only heard about Dave Sutton's. You may have to buy some old Mig's to get one as a free bonus ;-) To my knowldge, Dave uses it for wreckdiving. Battery voltage is 48Volts, as I have heard. When they are electrically as reliable as they appear mechanically, they probably would be the best in the world. Though still not be usable w/o mod for Dir style configurations,( and remember everyone in the team should have the same) There are some other russian scooters around in Germany, big red ones, four handles, you carry them as a team, and go diving as a team with one scooter. It has the power to drag all 4 of them. Needs some substantial weights to be neutral, has a titanium shell as well. Never heard of a failure here, but I do not know the depth range, 35m has been done with it w/o problems. Matthias -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
