I haven't seen any other valves than Halcyon's. The whole thing is very
simple , no need for plans really . 3 Pieces of hosing plus two  check 
valves.
One valve is holding the water for flooding the suit  the other valve keeps
pressure in the hose so it doesn't crush. I wash the valve every time 
with fresh
water + i squeeze a bottle of white vinegar  through once and a while to 
disinfect.

Once a check valve o ring  was broken but this again was not a problem.
There is a screw outside the suit that seals everything.  Disassembling the
check valves and replacing the orings is a 20 minute job.
