Hi Everyone, below is the schedule for the VBtech meeting, Artifact show 
and guest speakers on Feb 1 2003 that will be held at Lynnhaven Diver 
Center in Va Beach , Va USA. www.ldcscuba.com There is no cost to attend 
this event and everyone is invited.

9am LDC will open with viewing of artifacts and tech gear sale, a very 
small listing of artifacts that will be displayed are as follows:

The "SHIPS WHEEL" from the San Delfino sunk 1942
The PORT and STBD Navigational Lanterns from the EM Clark sunk 1942
Porcelain Dolls, bottles, and other things from the Eureka sunk 1888
China from the U-352 sunk 1942
China from the Andrea Doria sunk 1956
China from the Marine Electric sunk 1983
China from the EM Clark sunk 1942
China from the Malchase sunk 1942
China from the SS Carolina sunk 1918
Fossilized Shark Teeth from the Cooper River
There is just to much to list and if anyone else would like to display 
something we would be glad to have you, just email me so I can prepare a 
space for you.


GUEST SPEAKERS

10:30 am - 11:10 Jackie Smith will speak on diving Closed Circuit 
Re-breathers ........
Jackie has been diving a Re-breather for 4 yrs to depths of 400ft

11:30 - 12:10 Capt Johnny Pieno www.outerbanksdiving.com
will speak on Wrecks of Hatteras, NC and their artifacts. Capt. Johnny has 
been running dive trips for many years out of Hatteras, NC and is 
considered one of the top artifact divers of the area.

1pm - 1:40 pm Robert Frump author of the new book " Until the Sea Shall 
Free Them", http://www.untilthesea.com/ will speak about the main subject 
in the book, the 1983 sinking of the SS Marine Electric and will be 
available for book signing through out the day.
Robert R. Frump
For many years, Bob Frump was a journalist. He wrote about politics in 
Philadelphia, and covered the administration of controversial Mayor Frank 
Rizzo. He also wrote numerous investigative articles. He won the George 
Polk Award for coverage of the wrecks of old ships subsidized by government 
programs and the Gerald Loeb Award for his coverage of maritime business 
affairs. With many other reporters, he served on the team in Harrisburg 
reporting on Three Mile Island. The stories later won a Pulitzer Prize. Mr. 
Frump was nominated for Pulitzers by The Inquirer in three consecutive 
years. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Northwestern 
University, and the Executive Management Program of the Darden School, 
University of Virginia.
Mr. Frump left journalism in 1986 to pursue a career in management. He is 
now an executive on Wall Street.

will speak and do a Power Point presentation on New Jersey Wrecks.
Christina has been keeping the "diver" informed through her web site, which 
contains information and photos of her adventures in NJ Deep Wreckdiving.
