For those living in the lower Great Lakes area, you may be interested in 
the following press release.

This is the ninth annual Shipwreck Symposium put on by the Niagara Diver's 
Association.

Although we are set with the nine primary presentations, we are still 
looking for a few five minute shorts. These shorts, are to introduce new 
topics or speakers and often lead to full presentations at future 
events.  All presentations must be shipwreck related. If interested, please

PRESS RELEASE
SHIPWRECKS/2003
WELLAND, ONTARIO(45 Minutes from Buffalo, 75 Minutes from Toronto)

A one-day symposium on shipwrecks March 22, 2003, featuring multimedia
presentations with internationally renowned speakers from both the
United States and Canada. $35CDN/$25 US up February 17, 2003, $40 CDN/$28 
US after / lunch included.

This year, we are very excited to have nine primary multimedia 
presentations with speakers from Ontario, Michigan, New York, and Texas 
including;

David Gilchrist: Master of Ceremonies

Bernie Chowdhury (immersed magazine): Norway: "Wrecks of the Norwegian 
Arctic at Narvik"

Dan Hall (Singer/Songwriter of the Great Lakes):Stories of Great Lakes 
Ships and their gallant seaman are told in song

Terry Irvine & Jeff Post: The Judge Hart

Howard Robins (Artificial Reef Society of British Columbia): British 
Columbia's Artificial Reef Project

Jim & Pat Stayer (Out of the Blue Productions): A Look into the Bellies of 
Great Lakes' Whales

Drew Trent (Oceaneering International): Liberty Bell 7 & U-166 Mystery Solved

David Trotter (Undersea Research Associates): W.C. Franz Discovered

Georgann & Mike Wachter (Erie Wrecks): Wreck of the C.B. Benson

Again for 2003, there will be several 5 minute shorts, introducing new
