Hi Steve! I don't know about maesurements, but I've ground away that little stub with two regs already, and it works just fine. Now they behave more like G250's, and that was what I was looking for, having reduced spring tension and cracking effort. You can always go back to the original setting by threading the adjustment inwards. Regards, Benji -----Original Message----- From: Steven Lindblom [mailto:s_lindblom@co*.co*] Sent: Monday, 14. We are trying to figure out whether it is possible to upgrade a Euro TX to US specs by just shortening the existing chamber, rather than replacing it. The Euro version is longer and has a little stub on the end that the US version doesn't, but whether it is as simple as grinding off the stub is hard to tell without a careful comparison of both. However on dismantling mine I find they are all Euro, and no one nearby seems to have the part in stock. Need accurate measurement, vernier calipers/micrometer please, a ruler won't do. Oh, and if this is old hat, and someone has figured it out, please let me know the conclusion. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
