Unless someone is specifically targeting you and your past email accounts it
could be a normal side effect of today's common email worms...where somebody
else's computer is infected.  Today's mass mailing computer worms send
themselves to others, but with email addresses from the infected computer's
email address book or with email addresses grabbed from messages in the
user's inbox.  When the computer worm infects, it grabs the user's email
address book and uses all the addresses randomly to send itself out, and
also as a forged "sent from" address.  So the person the email appears to be
from isn't the person who sent it...it was just an email address listed in
the email address book (or inbox) of the person who sent it.

The very popular Klez virus has been confounding antivirus experts with this
trick, and today's new Babybear worm that is attacking the world is doing
the same.

Good advice on email attachments is never to open an email attachment you
did not expect.  If you are unsure, reply to the sender and ask if they
meant to send it.  Today's worms haven't evolved enough to answer back to
people's secondary questions yet.

  Somebody is sending viruses to everyone using "trey" @ whatever accounts,
like AOL and other bullshit ISPs. I don't send out executable files, and I
don't send out attachments unless you asked me for them, so delete anything
that looks funky if your virus software does not catch it. I even got them,
but my software caught it.
