Hi Kiki.. If you are like me your pencils explode after a few deep dives. when I was taking Cave 2 I met a great couple from Utah who had been researching pencils and actually standing them in pots of water for days on end and comparing results. Awesome research. Anyhow.. they told me to use the "stanford eagle circuit" at least that's what I have written down in my wetnotes :-).... sometimes the simplest of things are pretty darned valuable. Les. So far, the best pencil I got was provided with my wet notes book. I have tried several brands of pencils that you can find in generic stores but all of them after some dives break. I never could find the same quality of the wet notes pencils. I also noticed on the WKPP web site that Georges IRVINE is not using regular pencils but some mechanical ones. So my dives being salt and fresh water, I am wondering what the others are using which gives them satisfaction. thanx Kiki >> -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
