Greetings! I recall reading something recently about ANDI/IANTD/TDI crossovers. What I remember is that IANTD/TDI have a 1-1 corespondance between their ratings, and ANDI does not. So, you can easily crossover between IAN/TDI but not w/ the ANDI classes. Is this so? I also recall that the three agencies got together (during DEMA mayhap?) and tried to iron out crossovers, and that IAN/TDI did, ANDI did not. Questions: What is the history of IANTD and TDI? Is TDI an offspring of IAN? If so, what made it spring off, so to speak? Specificaly: I am ANDI full Nitrox certified, does anyone know how that translates to the IANTD sequence Basic/Advanced/Tech? Is IANTD Basic Nitrox NOAAI or NOAAII, Advanced is Any %O2 up to 50%, and Tech includes up to 100% in deco situations? If this is so, then ANDI full user is Advanced.
