In that moment we started threads about that "record" attempt, we started to provide some kind of publicity. I don't really think that they are doing it for the small recognition of DIR divers (who won't condone it for various reasons and I don't think that they care about their opinions), they will get more admiration from the "general" techdiving crowd of other agencies and most admiration from the recreational dive community. Although Mr. Clarks post was politically incorrect towards female gender (maybe also towards wannabe-female-genders) I still thought of it as a refreshing change from the really stupid and, after long time, extremely annoying and boring rants that post was actually referring to. People will follow their dreams and convictions, people will try to break records for various reasons... you may not agree with the methods, strategy AND the goal.
