I have an idea that might make  all SCUBA diving in general more pleasurable
and, after some initial pain, safer for all:

With agencies like TDI and SDI actively proselytizing solo diving, the gene
pool will be constantly reinforced with new dunderheads. Better to advertise
free solo dive training, lead each prospective eager student to a ³custom
solo fin² booth where they will be instructed to place their feet, whereupon
the ³mold² will be filled with fast-drying cement and then each student will
be given a Spare Air and a TDI solo card and promptly dropped into the
nearest quarry, lake, sea or ocean.

That would help with the gene pool in lots of areas . . . . :)
