The hook is then fowled in it. Joe, The procedure you describe sounds sweet - I'll file it away for future use. However, couple of questions. How much does the grapple and chain (if used) weigh? On the descent, and particularly when ascending up to the loop where the grapple is to be fouled, the team member carrying the grapple will be using his own BC or wing to counteract the weight of the grapple, yes/no? Or have I misunderstood? If yes, then for argument sake, lets say he drops it. Is the immediate excess buoyancy going to be a problem?
