I try to stay on everyone's good side.  To my knowledge, I don't have any
enemies in the technical diving field, and this fact has enriched my life
greatly. It's not always easy maintaining relationships with two
individuals who storngly dislike each other, but so far I've managed to
pull it off pretty well on several occasions. In my experience, everyone I've
met has had at least some useful information to provide, regardless of
what others may think of him or her.

I've been told that a chicken that walks the center of the road will get
run over.  My response to that was:  The safest place to be on a road is
the center, between the lanes, where no cars drive.  The chickens
that walk in the middle of the lanes, off-center, are the ones that
ultimately get squashed...
