Hello everyone,

Has anyone had any experience with a fairly new product called 
"Jetboots?" They look like two propeller driven propulsion units 
strapped to your legs, powered by a cannister light battery. They're 
ridiculously expensive (make Gavins look like a bargain), but the 
concept sounds interesting. I'm  curious about the thoughts of this 
group regarding this idea.

And please, this in an honest question, not a promotion or anything 
like that. I have absolutely nothing to do with this company. These 
guys spammed rec.scuba a few weeks ago, which I hate. Still, I'm 
hearing some noise about some prominent people "beta testing" them, 
so I'd like to hear the opinions of this list.
