How about this.  Backplate/harness for doubles, single tank adapter (or I 
understand the new Halcyon single tank wing does not require the adapter), 
and use the same backplate/harness and wings for sidemounts (requires minor 
additions to the rigging as used for backmounts).

Makes your life just as easy and it is more stable with doubles than the 
Transpac and handles singles or sidemounts as well.
