As far as I know she is not on any medication that would preclude diving, just some anti-inflamatories and mild pain killers when she is not feeling well, at which point she wouldn't be diving anyway. Hi Chris, Sorry if this sounds chiding but it's how I feel about this. In light of the fact that just *anyone* seems to be able to dive nowadays (equal opportunity, yadda, yadda, yadda) I find it faintly astonishing that you need to ask the question. Here, on TechDiver. I'll assume that you've *deeply* questioned this person as to their intent? It's not just because *you* dive? I find it (my own opinion only and as a generality - AS A GENERALITY) rather suspect that we now offer people with severe limitations access to activities from which they were previously traditionally excluded. I find that this emancipation which seems so prevalent today can only lead to grief at some stage. I do not agree that severely limited people should be encouraged to engage in activities in which they clearly are disadvantaged when compared to an able bodied person. Especially in an activity as unforgiving as SCUBA. You can't just park the car and walk. I, just for one, would not want to be responsible for such people in such circumstances. If talking SCUBA I would not consider myself qualified, never mind how "qualified" others might consider me. Period! Yes, I acknowledge that there are some magnificent people who manage to jump through the hoops of all I have said with no trouble at all. I suggest to you that they are very much in the minority, the exceptions to prove the rule. As well, considering that such a person would (well, at the very least) never be able to consider a Tech Diving career, I'd call this Off Topic here and On Topic on some more conventional SCUBA training list.
