Call for Papers
Symposium - Medicine & Physiology of Diving
UHMS Benefit
Physicians and researchers, directly involved in work on
topics in diving medicine and physiology, are invited to submit
abstracts for presentations of 30 minutes. There are a few spaces for
1 hour. Abstracts received before 15 May, favored. If interested,
please e-mail intent sooner.
+ Audience is all divers, regardless of science background.
+ Language is plain English.
+ Primary focus is educational and interesting information divers can
use.
+ Colloquium in the afternoon session, where attendees meet with the
experts for small group discussions (and demonstrations where applicable).
The symposium is Saturday 7 Oct 995, 9-5, part of the three day
Dive Philadelphia scuba expo, 6-8 Oct 95, Friday-Sunday. Valley Forge
Convention Center, King of Prussia, PA, in the heart of Historic America.
Features speakers, exhibits, socials, workshops, the medical symposium
and a technical diving symposium
The symposium benefits the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society, to
help diving medicine and physiology. Last year we sent $1500 to
them. CMEs and CEUs in the works.
