Alas, that was the case with the last backplate and BC I ordered. The realities of setting up and maintaining a distribution chain for a very low volume product line must be pretty harsh. My only retail experience is with items that move much faster so I can only guess at the problems. Having said that, I can't imagine myself being at depth and thinking "This item is a piece of shit, but it was sure nice to get it quickly."
