Sorry for trying to answer the many questions I am getting with one email.. but I don't see any other way. I will try to update the images. I'm swamped, sorry. 1. The mount on the WKPP site is belt mounted as is the one George seemed to like. Yes it is the one I use (I am not in the league of the big boys) - it is the first set of images on this web page http://www.divetekadventures.com/ 2. The *Velcro style plate mount* images are on the bottom of the page. This uses Stainless Steel Halcyon Sex bolts - BUT the bottle *CAN BE REMOVED* even if the normal removal method is unavailable (locked) _ As if backing up and getting stages F*d and pressed against the AR bottle or if you get the 1st of the AR bottle hooked in line/cable. 3. The plate mount with solid webbing that Andrew showed us DIDN'T use METAL attachment parts and it COULD be BROKEN *IF* necessary. I assume this is why the solid webbing that AG made is plastic - IT CAN BE broken purposely. (Some found the plastic attachment point a possible failure point). These few have *been replacing the plastic mounting options* (on the solid plate mount) and using SS mounting hardware. While this solves one issue, It creates another bigger issue. So be care full about using SS hardware if mounting solid webbing to the plate!!! 4. When not in use the Velcro plate mount sits FLAT behind the plate and in front of the wing. Added the image http://www.divetekadventures.com/ then click <links> then scroll down and click <AR Mounts> 5. Any Dive shop can get them - from Cetacea or Manta Ray.. I will post the measurement stuff if I get enough people asking for them Thanks, Jt -----Original Message----- From: Jim Thompson [mailto:jim@sh*.ne*] Sent: Friday, May 24, 2002 4:02 PM To: Techdiver@Aquanaut. Com; Quest@Gu*. Com Subject: Argon Mounting Images George mentioned > was George Irvines Leture CA Before George came out he sited one of the mounts as something he liked on Quest and Techdiver? We also showed several AR mounts at the Demo when George was here in California. Because of this; we have received emails asking about the details. We made a super rough comparison and mounting illustrations about the two styles of Argon wreck/openwater mounts that we *remade* using a Velcro sandwich. You obviously can make these yourself. They require 2" webbing, 2" Velcro both types and a STRONG STRONG sewing machine. It should be obvious how they are made on the page but it is easier just to get them from or Manta (info on web page) or Cetacea (the company that sewed them for me). I am sure soon Halcyon will have their version of the Wreck or openwater Argon mount. To see these mounts go here: www.divetekadventures.com <http://www.divetekadventures.com/> then click <links> then scroll down and click <AR Mounts> George has his non-Velcro wreck images that you have all seen at www.wkpp.org <http://www.wkpp.org/> then click <equipment> then <equipment images> Hope this answers the questions.
