Hi,

I am not sure if you live near a Wal-Mart store. They sell in the
hunting section stainless steel shears for about $5. They are by far the
best you will find and an amazing deal for $5. The shears are razor
sharp with a serrated section. The handles are large and sturdy and big
enough to manage with gloved hands.

Chris

John,

Sea Snips are a good start but I don't like their sheath; however, other

people don't have a problem with it. You can find stainless steel EMT
shears at Home Depot, WalMart, and KMart. You may have similar sources
in
your area.

As with dive knives, make sure you clean and lubricate the shears to
avoid
rusting. I find the center pin starts rusting before the blades so pay
attention to it.

Good luck,
Rafael
