according to local german law any gascylinder with more than 21% oxygen should
have 3/4" DIN or Draeger 24x2 connection.  That's why for example draeger uses
a 24x2 connection for its dolphin rebreather.  For all other countries this
special "nitrox dedicated" connections make less sense.  Although according to
draeger their 24x2 is more safe when used with pure oxygen.( when "something
goes wrong" their should be less damage; according to draeger, don't ask me ) 
They developped this valve special for this kind of application.
