I do not use the panel inside of the Halcyon backplate ( that is for

storing the "surf mat" liferaft). Instead, I don't dive off of idiot's

boats or with strokes so I do not need a liferaft. Also, I need the

friction of the wing nut and bolt to hold the lift bag in place when I push

it up between me and my tanks, so I removed it.. I do not have holes in the

side of my version of the plate. I would not bungee things to the side of

my plate since it interferes with the wings and presses against me when the

wings are inflated. The bungee piece to hold back the wreck argon is run

through the same slot as the lower webbing, and the bottle is below where

it would get pinched between the wings and the plate anyway.

Again, I really could care less where anyone puts their liftbag and don't

really care to discuss it with anyone, but when asked how I do it, and I

respond, either take it or leave it, but don't bother arguing with me if

you don't get it in the first place , and none of you do based on the
inanity of the responses.

 I could care less

how anyone does anything that is not diving with me. If you want to see how

I do things, go to the WKPP.org site. I do not care what is on any other

site or what anyone else pretends is "DIR". If you want to discuss what is

on my site from a point of view of doing it yourself, then ask away, if you

want to argue about it, then save yourself the time and just do it your

way. I am long past any delusion of being able to teach pigs to sing. I do

like pointing out shear idiocy , however, and still find great pleasure in

doing so.

How is the lift bag attached to the back plate ? Is this possable with out
using the plate pack from Halcyon, I can think of a way or two but would
like to see the right way to attach the bag.
I have had mine(185 lb Halycon) attached to the side of the plate rolled
up with it cliped to the bungy cord that holds it in place. I use 2 bungy
cords one on top one on the bottom and just reach back on the right side
slip off the bottom cord and pull the top of the bag out than un-clip the
bag from the bottom bungy. This works for me but if there is a better way Im
ready to try it.
Once again thanks in advance for the information.
