Bad news George. I'm a dumb-ass! I thought those were the same as the PST
104s. I didn't bother to research them until after I bought them. And then I
still wasn't sure because the specs on the net are not consistent. That's
why I asked for some first hand opinions. Everyone says they're too heavy
and not to use them. The good news is I was able to resell them at no loss
without taking delivery. The last thing I need around here is more junk that
I can't (or don't want) to use.

Thanks for the fast response from those who answered my question about this.
Saved me almost $100 in crating and shipping costs.

-Randy

Randy, these people really think you bought the Heisers. You should not have
stopped there - you should have said you got a set of 100 pound bondage
wings and an MLS light with them. Too funny. This reminds me of when Rod
Farb recommended using a "helium lock" on doubles when one of the New
England boat monkeys said the helium leaks out and leaves the rest of the
gas. I guess these guys will have to be around for another ten years to
appreciate your sense of humor.

I'm selling a set of double 80s with isolator manifold. Check ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1822658978. You can
choose between the Sherwood DIN with Isolator or Sea Elite Manifold. I
rarely dive these tanks, because it takes too much lead to sink me and my
drysuit. I normally dive 104s.

I just bought a set of 104s, but they are the Heiser 104s, not the Pressed
Steel. I believe that the Heisers are made from steel tubing (and maybe have
flat bottoms?). I also understand that Heiser 104s are heavier than Pressed
Steel 104s, but seem to be about the same size. My question is am I going to
be as happy with these tanks as I am with my old pst 104s, or will these end
up collecting dust like my 80s?

Sincerely,
C. Randy Bohrer
