Okay. Please help me understand your response.  If buddies - say in a three 
person cave team - each had lights, by which I mean beams, that were in 
some subtle but discernible way different, it would be easier, at least I 
as I speculate here in fron of my computer,  to determine immediately whose 
light was whose - making buddy tracking easier and facilitating communication.

Note I am not trying to start an argument with you - I know better. But I'd 
benefit from a little more elaboration in your response.
