The SEALs adamantly oppose persons making false

claims about their affiliations with the teams.

In fact, they feel so strongly about it that they

will do their best to publicly smear you and get

you fired from your job, divorced from your wife,

etc. if/when they find out about it. Yes, that's

right - they maintain a group

within themselves that investigates false SEAL

claims and they have a website where anyone can submit

information about individuals making such claims

and get an answer directly from the teams. They

also publish on the site their "Wall of Shame"

complete with photos of the "Wannabees". Maybe

some or all of you know this already. This is only

to let anyone who doesn't know, if you care, that you don't

just have to decide for yourself whom to believe.

You can ask the SEALs directly. They have their

own restricted database which they search on and

will give you an answer one way or the other by

email.

There's quite a few offenders on there who have apparently been fired

from their jobs over their false claims. It seems

that in some places, there are those who feel

that if you would lie about something like this,

maybe you would lie about other things, too. Go figure.
